As the year is coming to a close we all start to get nostalgic and reflect on the year, and what a year it has been! We have so much to be grateful for, from a growing team & community to big wins at CREATIVE HEAD and THE BRITISH HAIRDRESSING AWARDS.

This year we celebrated the following:

  • The launch of our newsletter KIT.JOURNAL 
  • KIT turned one in March!
  • We launched our first research report “TOP INFLUENTIAL WOMEN+ IN HAIR" highlighting the powerhouse women+ in the hair industry in celebration of Women's month.
  • Harriet Stokes was announced as one of the youngest-ever Global Artists for  L'ORÉAL PROFESSIONNEL.
  • James Earnshaw celebrated 100K FOLLOWERS on Instagram – a massive milestone, growing 30k in three months.
  • Grace Dalgleish took home Most Wanted: Colour Expert at the CREATIVE HEAD AWARDS.
  • Danielle Garner walked away with three CREATIVE HEAD AWARDS; IT List: Entrepreneur and One to Watch and Most Wanted: Client Experience for Wildflower Studio Dublin.
  • Jordanna Cobella became a VEGAMOUR brand ambassador and was named “London Hairdresser of the year” at THE BRITISH HAIRDRESSER AWARDS.
  • Zoe Irwin was announced as an Editorial, Colour + Trend Ambassador for MATRIX.
  • Michelle Thompson was announced as a COLOUR WOW UK ambassador.
  • Conor collaborated with EASILOCKS, TANGLE TEEZER, LEAF SCISSORS, and PERFECTIL. 
  • We launched a PRESS OFFICE with Rachel Grieve heading up the industry department 
  • Our founder, Karrie Fitz, was one of eight panelists at THE COTERIE LONDON discussing the future of hairdressing.

We have grown and celebrated major wins this 2022 and here at KIT we are already excited to see what next year has in store for us!
